Starting from Monemvasia, passing through vast olive, orange and lemon groves next to the riverbank of the mythical Evrotas river, smelling the summer aromas of the area, you will see on the foot of Taygetos Mountain a hill on which the Byzantine Town of Mystras is located.

Mystras is an exceptional example of a well preserved fortified Byzantine city, a World Cultural Heritage Monument protected by Unesco since 1989.
