Holidays are hard to compare: each agency spells the hotel differently, shows the price differently and updates its offers at a different pace. We do that work, so you only compare what matters.

We recognise a hotel by name, location and stars, even when agencies spell it differently. One page shows every price for the same stay.
The total price, not a starting price
We show the price per person with mandatory taxes included. If the transfer or luggage is paid separately, the offer says so clearly.
You know how fresh the price is
Next to every price is the time it was last checked. An offer the agency no longer publishes disappears from the site within a few hours.
A score that explains the offer
We compare the price with the usual price for the same hotel and the same stay. When we call an offer good, we also say why.

Search
Choose the destination, the dates and how many people are travelling. You can also start from a kind of holiday: charter package, city break, circuit, cruise or accommodation only.

Filter
Narrow the list by board type, star rating, departure airport, budget or guest rating. Sort by price, price per night or departure date.

Open the hotel and see the same holiday at every agency, cheapest first, with the price history of recent months.

Book with the agency
Press "See on agency" and you land on the offer's page on the agency's website. There you confirm the details, book and pay.
How to read an offer
Every offer on Vacantier has the same structure, whichever agency publishes it. So you can compare two offers directly, without hunting for information on different pages.

The hotel and the place
The hotel's name, its star rating and the resort. The same hotel has a single page, however many agencies sell it.

The stay
Number of nights, board type and departure airport. We show them the same way for every agency, so you compare like with like.

The labels
Agency labels such as Early Booking or Last Minute appear as the agency sends them. The green line below them is our own judgement, and always says in one sentence why the offer is good.

The price
The total price per person, mandatory taxes included. If you choose another currency, we convert at the latest National Bank of Romania rate and mark the amount as approximate.

The time of the check
When we last saw the price at the agency. A price older than a few hours is flagged, so you know it is worth checking.
What an offer's score means
A low price is not automatically a good offer. The score compares an offer's price with the usual price of the same hotel, for the same board and number of nights, over the last 90 days.
An offer is marked as good only when we can show the reason:
Below the usual price for the stay
The price is clearly lower than what was asked for the same stay over the last 90 days.
Below the usual price in the resort
The price is lower than comparable hotels in the same resort.
High guest rating
The hotel is very well rated by people who have already stayed there.
Price alerts, without the noise
You do not have to check every day. With a free account you can watch the hotels you care about and save searches, and we only write when it is worth it.
- We write when the price falls at least 5% below the lowest price you saw.
- You get at most one message every 12 hours for the same hotel.
- For a saved search you can get the new offers daily.

Vacantier is a comparison service. Our job is to show you fairly what the market offers, not to sell you a particular holiday.
What we do
- Show offers as the agencies publish them, updated several times a day.
- Show the total price and say clearly what is not included.
- Order offers by score or by the criterion you choose.

What we do not do
- Change agencies' prices or write them by hand.
- Sell holidays or take payments.
- See or store your payment details.

Frequently asked questions
Do I book the holiday through Vacantier?
No. When you press the offer's button, you land on the offer's page on the agency's website. You book and pay there, and your contract is with the agency.
Does it cost anything to use Vacantier?
No. Searching, comparing offers, your account, favourites and price alerts are free. The price you pay is the agency's price.
Why might the agency's price differ from the one shown?
Prices change during the day, depending on the places left. That is why we show the time of the last check next to every price. The final price is the one the agency confirms when you book.
Do I need an account?
Not to search and compare. You only need one to save hotels to favourites, save searches or receive price alerts.
What kinds of holidays can I find?
Charter packages with flights, city breaks, circuits, cruises and accommodation only, published by Romanian travel agencies.
How are offers ordered?
By score, by default. You can always order them by price, price per night, guest rating, departure date or star rating. The order cannot be bought.
