1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser and reads on later visits. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work the same way, and the rules below apply to them too.
"First-party" cookies are set by Vacantier. "Third-party" cookies are set by other websites, through scripts loaded in our pages.
2. The categories we use
- Necessary — the site cannot work without them: they keep the session and sign-in, protect forms and remember choices you make explicitly (the currency, your cookie consent). They need no consent, under Art. 4(5) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004, and cannot be switched off from the banner.
- Marketing and affiliate — the Travelpayouts scripts and the Kiwi.com flight search. They set their own cookies so they know a visitor or a booking came from Vacantier. They load only after you accept them.
We use no analytics cookies: visit statistics are computed on the server, with an anonymised identifier that changes daily and is never stored in the browser.
3. List of cookies

| Travelpayouts cookies | Travelpayouts | Credit Vacantier with visits and bookings made with partners through our links. | Set by Travelpayouts | Marketing |
| Kiwi.com cookies | Kiwi.com | Make the flight search work and credit the booking to Vacantier. | Set by Kiwi.com | Marketing |
The exact names and lifetimes of third-party cookies are set by those parties and may change; you can find them in their cookie policies, on travelpayouts.com and kiwi.com.
4. How to give or withdraw consent
On your first visit we show a banner where you can accept all cookies, only the necessary ones, or choose by category. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and the site works fully without marketing cookies (except the flight search, which comes from Kiwi.com).
You can change your choice at any time, with the button below or from "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. Your choice is valid for 6 months, after which we ask again.
When you withdraw consent, we stop loading third-party scripts. Cookies they have already set stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them; you can delete them in your browser settings.
5. Browser settings
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, usually under "Settings" › "Privacy" or "Security". If you block necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in and some forms will not work.
6. Questions
How we process data in general is explained in the Privacy Policy. For questions about cookies, write to us at [email protected].
