    The Birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci is located in Anchiano, a hamlet of the municipality of Vinci, about 3 km from the town center. Leonardo was born in this house on April 15, 1452. The building, a typical Tuscan farmhouse, is surrounded by the hilly landscape of Montalbano, characterized by olive groves and vineyards.
