Itinerary

  1. Ba Dinh Square

    20 min

Begin your walking tour at Ba Dinh Square, one of the most important historical spaces in modern Vietnam. Your guide will introduce the square and explain its connection with Ho Chi Minh’s Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945.

You’ll have time to walk around the spacious square, observe the national ceremonial area, take photos from appropriate viewpoints, and hear stories about the events that shaped modern Vietnam. The guide will also explain how this large public space became closely associated with Vietnam’s national history.

  2. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

    20 min

    Exterior.

Continue to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and view the imposing granite structure from the outside. Your guide will explain its historical background, architectural features, and significance in Vietnamese public life.

You can observe the ceremonial area, surrounding gardens, security arrangements, and architectural details while learning about Ho Chi Minh and his role in Vietnam’s 20th-century history. This stop is designed as an exterior visit; access to the mausoleum interior is not included in this tour.

  3. Hanoi

    15 min

    Presidential Palace – Exterior.

Walk toward the distinctive yellow Presidential Palace, a prominent example of French-colonial architecture in Hanoi. Your guide will explain the building’s colonial history and its later connection with Vietnam’s national leadership.

From the designated visitor area, you can admire the building’s façade, surrounding gardens, and architectural details while learning how this colonial-era structure became part of the modern Vietnamese government complex.

  4. Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House

    30 min

Visit the peaceful area surrounding Ho Chi Minh’s traditional wooden stilt house. Here you can see the simple house, garden, fish pond, and working environment associated with his later years.

Your guide will share stories about his daily routine, lifestyle, and preference for simple surroundings. Instead of focusing only on political history, this stop allows you to see a more personal side of the historical complex and understand how the site preserves memories of everyday life.

  5. One Pillar Pagoda

    30 min

Finish the historical walk at One Pillar Pagoda, one of Hanoi’s most recognizable Buddhist landmarks. Built around a lotus-inspired concept, the pagoda stands on a single stone pillar above a small pond.

Your guide will explain the story behind its design, its connection with Vietnamese Buddhist traditions, and why the lotus is an important cultural symbol. You’ll have time to observe the architecture, take photographs, and experience the peaceful atmosphere before the tour ends.
