The grand Mysore Palace is the highlight of the tour of Mysore from Bangalore. We will travel back to the golden era of Mysore Maharajas to imagine the glory that was Mysore, epitomized by this wonder built in Indo-Saracenic style with a blend of Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic styles of architecture. A thrilling boat safari awaits us over the islets on the river Cauvery which form the bird sanctuary. From vibrant Painted Storks and graceful Spoonbills to industrious Openbill Storks and swift River Terns, the sanctuary is a vibrant collection of over 220 bird species, with migratory visitors from as far as Siberia adding to the spectacle, especially during the winter months (November to February). Beyond the birds, keep your eyes peeled for marsh crocodiles basking on the riverbanks and playful otters in the water, making every moment an adventure.
