About this activity

Phan Xi Phang, Fansipan, or Phan Si Phang is the highest mountain in Vietnam, also the highest of the three Indochina countries, which is called "Indochinese Snake" (3,143 m) in Hoang Lien Son mountain range, Sa Pa town about 9 km to the southwest. In the local dialect, the mountain is called "Hua Xi Pan" and means a giant stone plateau. Phanh Xi Peng was formed in the vicinity of the Permian - Triassic period of the Paleozoic and Great Paleozoic. There are some types of rare. At the foot of the mountain are the rice, etc. From here to the height of 700 m is the tropical belt with dense primitive forests, creeping vines. From 700 m upwards, there are three layers of seedlings, four of which are hugging, 50-60 m high, and several hundred years old. From a height of 2,800 m, covered with soil is dwarf structure, the bushes are about 25-30 cm low, the whole tree is bare, the tops are a little fluttering, so this species is called architecture.

Day 1 · Hanoi - Sapa (Limousine) - Cat Cat Village (L/D)

Our drive will pick you up at the your hotel then depart to Sapa, via new high-way which has started operations on 21 SEP 2014, THE JOURNEY ARE APPROXIMATELY 245 Km and durations approximately 05 hours ( Included 30 minutes toilet break) passes thru 05 provinces and cities, namely Hanoi, Vinh Phuc(Tourism area), Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Lao Cai. The new highway will reduce travel time between Hanoi and Sapa twon and the Lao Cai International Border Gate to HEKOU, CHINA. Along the way, you will enjoy by the beauty of northwest mountains, terraced fields are sparkling in sunlight or dim in thick fog. Upon arrive Sapa, check in hotel follows by lunch and continue tour program.
Cat Cat village

The appointed guide will start escorting since you arrive hotel. After check-in hotel, we will go for dinner at local restaurant and trekking to visit local villages - Cat Cat village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. The spot is only within 30 minutes of walking from Sapa center; and the hike through the mountains will offer tourists a wonderful view of the rice paddies, waterfall, or even water buffaloes grazing leisurely. You will be impressed by the peacefully picturesque sceneries and also a chance to have a glimpse into the daily life of local ethnic people, as well as take part in traditional activities such as weaving fabric. The tourists may purchase some traditional souvenirs and handicrafts right from the craftsmen and also buy some local food sold on the way upcoming to the hill.

After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa Town by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping.

Day 2 · Sapa - Fansipan - Hanoi (B/L)

8:00 - The appointed tour guide will meet up guests at hotel and escort guests to walk to Sapa town ~ Sun Plaza station to ride on Muong Hoa Hiking Train to Sun World Fansipan Legend station. The Sun World Fansipan Legend Combo Package covers the Muong Hoa train ticket + cable car charges + entrance fees + funicular ride to the peak of Fansipan Mountain + buffet lunch at Van Sam Restaurant.
