Day 1 · Leaving Puerto Jimenez, arriving Corcovado

We start at 5 a.m. in Puerto Jiménez, taking the boat with the guide to Carate, where we will begin the 20-kilometer hike to the Sirena Biological Station. This 7- to 9-hour hike is known for its intense biodiversity and adventurous river crossings.
