This street market is where Miki purchases everything she needs for her kitchen and dining room, from knives and cookware to teapots and chopsticks.

For your authentic Japanese cooking class, you will join Miki in her home kitchen and prepare a main of Sushi (temari or chirashi), Bento (Wagyu steak or miso marinated fish), or Gyoza from scratch. In addition, you will learn to make dashi (the foundation for miso soup and other Japanese dishes) as well as sushi rice and vegetable sides. You can expect the cooking portion of your experience to last about 1.5 hours. Your meal concludes with wagashi served with green tea or Hojicha. If you don't choose a main, your host will default to sushi.
