Arriving in the charming Bavarian town of Berchtesgaden, enjoy time to relax and have lunch at your own pace, with a selection of traditional Bavarian restaurants to choose from (lunch at your own expense).

Explore the Obersalzberg area, once one of the most important secondary headquarters of the Nazi regime. During your visit, learn about the Berghof site, Hitler’s former mountain residence, as well as other significant locations in the area.

Today, this historic site offers a striking contrast between its peaceful alpine surroundings and its complex past, providing deeper insight into one of the most significant chapters of the 20th century.

After your lunch break, enjoy a short scenic drive from Berchtesgaden to the Obersalzberg. From this historic mountain area, you will continue to the Eagle’s Nest using the dedicated mountain buses and elevator.

At the summit, you will have approximately two hours to explore and take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the Bavarian Alps, including vistas towards the Königssee and the surrounding Salzburg region.

There will also be time to enjoy refreshments at the mountaintop restaurant terrace, making this a truly memorable highlight of your journey.
