Day 1 · Airport pick-up in Beijing

   Upon arrival at Beijing airport, you will meet your tour guide and driver outside the baggage claim area. Then you will be taken to the hotel. The rest of the day is left for you to adjust to jet lag.

Day 2 · Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven

   Your tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby and take you to tour Beijing city. Firstly, you will have a stroll on the world's largest square in the city center - Tiananmen Square.

   The Palace Museum

   From the Tiananmen Square, you will enter the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City to explore its fascinating halls and pavilions. Here, you will not only learn about how the emperor handled political affairs and lived, but also appreciate numerous ancient art treasures.

   We will serve your lunch today at a good local restaurant nearby.

   Temple of Heaven

   In the afternoon, you will see the Temple of Heaven, with its unique architecture, where the emperors worshipped the heavens in hopes of good harvests.

   Red Theater Acrobatic Show Official

   Tonight, we will arrange for you to enjoy the wonderful acrobatic show in the Red Theater.

   We specially serve you a welcome a la carte dinner (valued at CNY150.00 per person and included in tour price) at a popular restaurant, where you can have a taste of the most famous Peking Roast Duck and other authentic typical dishes.

Day 3 · Mutianyu Great Wall Tour

   This morning, you will be taken to Mutianyu Great Wall to experience the wonder of the Great Wall for yourself. The round-trip cable car is included to save more time on the Wall. Standing on the wall and looking at it stretching up and down into boundless distance is an exciting experience and will leave you a life-long memory.

   After enjoying a buffet lunch, we will return downtown.

   Bird's Nest National Stadium

   In the afternoon, on the way back you will have a photo stop at the Olympic National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest.

   Hutong Tour

   Afterwards, you will take a rickshaw tour to explore the original Hutong alleys and have a chance to visit a local family.

Day 4 · Travel in Summer Palace; Take High-speed Train from Beijing to Xi'an

   In the morning, you will visit the Summer Palace - the largest existing imperial garden with a graceful landscape and magnificent constructions.

   Xi'an

   After a local flavor lunch, you will take a high-speed train to Xi'an, where your local guide will pick you up at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 5 · Terracotta Army, Ancient Pagoda

   The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses

   The visit to the Terracotta Army will begin your day's journey. In the museum, there are three excavated pits displaying amazing warrior figures and Chinese ancient weapons. Afterwards, take a family visit to the home of the first discoverer of the Terracotta Army. And then make a mini clay warrior by yourself with the help of a local artisan.

   Giant Wild Goose Pagoda

   In the afternoon, you will the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which was built in the Tang Dynasty (618–907 AD) to store the Buddhist scriptures brought from ancient India.

   Tang Dynasty Show

   A splendid evening is in store when you will be entertained by the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show while partaking in the famous Dumpling Dinner.

Day 6 · City Highlights Tour in Xi'an and Fly from Xi'an to Zhangjiajie

   Xi'an City Wall

   The day begins with a leisure visit to the City Wall Park, where you can observe the day-to-day life of the locals. You may also practice Tai Chi with the master. Tai Chi, a soft form of Chinese martial arts, is considered the quintessential Chinese culture.

   After that, you will pay a visit to the City Wall. It is the most complete existing urban fortification in China. Cycling on the ancient wall is an exciting experience that many people like to try (bike rental fee is not included).

   Muslim Quarter

   Then you will have a special lunch at the lively Muslim Quarter and try some local food.

   Zhangjiajie

   In the afternoon, you will board the flight to Zhangjiajie. Your local guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 7 · Tour in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

   Your guide will take you to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park where you will visit many scenic spots, such as Tianzi mountain, Hallelujah Mountain, Yangjiajie Scenic Area with Natural Great Wall, Tianzi Mountain by cable car down.

   The spectacular Bailong Sight-seeing Elevator in Yuanjiajie takes visitors rapidly up to the mountain top, where you get a magnificent vista. Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve is hailed as 'the Monarch of the Peak Forest', so you can imagine how magnificent it is.

   After a day’s sightseeing, take the cable car down the mountain and get back to your hotel for rest.

   In the afternoon, continue your exploration along Golden Whip Stream inside the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

   Golden Whip Stream, with overlapping peaks, rippling waters, verdant forests and tranquil valleys gives everyone an enjoyable experience.

Day 9 · Tianmen Mountain Tour and Leave for Shanghai by Plane

   This morning, you will come to visit the Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Walking on the world's longest cable-way, you can take in the beautiful scenery on the Tianmen mountain, which is the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie City.

   Shanghai

   After the sightseeing, your guide and driver will transport you to the Zhangjiajie Airport. You will take flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, the local guide will meet you and help you check in the hotel in downtown.

Day 10 · Shanghai Highlights Tour

   This morning, Your local tour guide will pick you up at your hotel. You will visit one of the four largest museums in China, Shanghai Museum, which specializes in exhibiting art works from ancient times.

   Yu Garden

   2 hours Admission included

   Then, come to the Yu Garden - one of the attractions that you cannot miss in Shanghai. The symbol of the Garden is the Nine Zigzag Bridge built of granite and grass-white jade and the quaint, elegant mid-lake pavilion.

   Later, we will leave you some time at the nearby Yu bazaar.

3. 3

   The Bund

   After that, stroll along the thriving Bund area and then take a one-hour cruise tour on the Huangpu River.

Day 11 · Leave Shanghai by yourself

   After breakfast at the hotel, please find your own way to the airport for your homeward flight. Due to different flight schedules, the hotel-airport transfer service is not included. However, we would be happy to assist you if needed.
