Itinerary

Day 1 · Hike to Base Camp

Start the day with a complementary breakfast and coffee at a local restaurant. Then we head to the trail head by minibus. From here we hike up the amazing Acatenango Volcano trail to our base camp with spectacular views of Fuego volcano arriving at around 2 PM

Enjoy some pasta with homemade tomato sauce, washed down with some wine! · A hearty sandwich to keep you fuelled on the hike · A typical Guatemala breakfast at a local restaurant, with coffee or tea

Overnight camping on Acatenango Volcano in the best cabins of the volcano, with windows directly facing Fuego Volcano!

Day 2 · Summit Acatenango

We get up early to reach the summit of Acatenango by sunrise and hopefully (weather conditions permitting) witness what has to be one of the best views in Central America!

Coffee, bagels with jam or chocolate spread, banana bread and more all at 3600m!
