About this activity

Discover the historical and founding core of the town of Bilbao with this guided tour that also includes a guided tour of the interior of the Cathedral of Santiago and the church of San Antón.

We will start the guided tour of Bilbao in the Plaza de Santiago, in front of the Cathedral. We will visit the interior of this Bilbao temple, declared a World Heritage Site, to learn about its extraordinary works of sacred art.

After visiting the Cathedral, we will enter the Seven Streets to the Ribera Market, where you can find a wide variety of traditional products of Basque cuisine along with the brief visit to the church of San Antón.

After strolling through the most central streets of Casco Viejo, such as Calle del Correo, we will arrive at Plaza Nueva, a perfect example of the neoclassical architecture that houses the Royal Academy of the Basque Language.
