Day 1 · Discover and explore the magnificent and enigmatic Angkor Wat temples

Visit the south gate of Angkor Thom followed by the Angkor Thom (comprises of renowned Bayon Temples which was made up of 54 towers and 216 faces of Buddhisatva Avalokesvara) and Baphoun temples which was one the most spectacular temples during the Angkor empire heyday. Pass by the Terrace of Elephant, which was used for the public ceremonies and served as the stage for the king’s grand audience hall, the Terrace of leper king (one of Angkor’s mysteries), and the ancient Royal Palace Phimeanakas. Continue to visit Ta Prohm Temple, known as the “jungle temple” or “tree temple” referring to the lush trees surrounding the temple’s stones. The gigantic roots of the trees embracing the ruins have made it one the Angkor’s most popular temples.
