About this activity

Experience a classic boat cruise and enjoy a narrated tour with an Urban Naturalist. As we cruise along the west side of Manhattan during Autumn, learn about the geology and ecology as we cruise and see some of the areas iconic sights: the George Washington Bridge, Little Red Lighthouse, the Riverside Cathedral, Grant's Tomb, the Cloisters and more! The boat has a large salon that's designed with wrap around windows and skylights for viewing all of the sights while we cruise. We're located at Pier 62 of the Chelsea Piers Complex, between 22nd and 23rd street off the Westside Highway. Our ticket booth and check-in is at the northern-most end of Chelsea Piers on the river, just steps away from the dock.

Using your ticket

There's no need to print anything prior to check-in at the meeting point. Please bring a photo ID that matches the name listed on the reservation to the ticket booth and we'll issue boarding passes at check-in. Plan to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the departure time. Boarding begins promptly 5 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. If lost, please call 212-627-1825. We're located at the corner of Pier 62 of the Chelsea Piers Complex, between 22nd and 23rd street and the Hudson River. The meeting point is at the northernmost end of the Chelsea Piers Complex. The booth is located at the Hudson River, just steps from the dock.

We have seen fall colors at their peak as early as mid-October and as late early December along the waterfront in the Palisades of New Jersey (the prime destination of our fall foliage excursions). Refunds due to ‘lack of color’, will not be honored. Cruising on the Hudson River, north by the Palisades, is a unique and interesting route and is the declared value of this excursion
