About this activity

Explore a portion of the famous Routeburn Track, one of New Zealand’s ‘Great Walks,' on a day trip to the stunning Mt Aspiring National Park. Hike at a moderate pace on a trail that rises gradually from meadows and forest towards snow-capped peaks and hear informative commentary about the region and its flora and fauna from your expert guide. Lunch and snacks along with round-trip transport from Queenstown are included.

Must be able to manage a steady 2-hour incline to Flats Hut and possibly a 1.5-hour steep hike to Falls Hut. Rocky paths, slippery surfaces, uneven ground with exposed tree roots, steep inclines and declines. The group must stay together so perhaps the Half day hike might be more suitable if you don't think you are fit enough?

Using your ticket

Pickup from central Queenstown accommodations is included. Surround suburbs (Kelvin Heights, Frankton, Arthur's Point, Fernhill and others) by arrangement. Please contact to reconfirm pick up arrangement and time. Please also be aware, pick up may be in the form of a shuttle bus.
