   Welcome to Queenstown. Upon arrival at Queenstown Airport, your guide will meet you before the short scenic drive to Hawkridge Estate, your private countryside retreat. Along the way you'll begin to appreciate the unique landscape of the Wakatipu Basin, surrounded by the Remarkables Range, Coronet Peak and countless smaller mountain ranges that were sculpted by glaciers during the last Ice Age.

   Awaiting your arrival is a complimentary platter showcasing some of Central Otago's finest local produce, accompanied by regional wine and fresh baking. The private outdoor cedar hot tub is booked for you, overlooking uninterrupted mountain views.

   Arrowtown Village

   3 hours

   As evening approaches, we'll make the short drive to one of New Zealand's most charming historic towns. Established during the gold rush of 1862, Arrowtown remains one of New Zealand's best-preserved nineteenth-century settlements. Take your time wandering Buckingham Street, browsing independent boutiques, galleries and artisan stores, or enjoy a glass of Central Otago wine beside the Arrow River before dinner. Your guide is happy to recommend favourite local restaurants and can arrange reservations before your arrival. Arrowtown offers exceptional dining within its peaceful village setting. After dinner return to Hawkridge Estate.

Day 2 · Kawarau Gorge • Cromwell • Coronet Peak and Mt Dewar

   Cromwell

   3 hours

   Begin your day with a leisurely private breakfast at Hawkridge, taking in the peaceful surroundings before setting out with your personal guide. Travel through the spectacular Kawarau Gorge towards Central Otago, passing through historic Old Cromwell and along the shores of Lake Dunstan before continuing to Bannockburn.

   Discover two of the region’s celebrated wineries, enjoying private tastings and the exceptional character of Central Otago’s wines. Continue to Mora Winery or similar for an included set lunch, where the relaxed setting and refined cuisine provide a memorable midday experience.

   Coronet Peak

   2 hours

   After lunch, enjoy a scenic drive through the Coronet Peak region, with sweeping views across the surrounding mountains and valleys. Your journey is deliberately unhurried, allowing time to stop whenever a particularly beautiful viewpoint catches your eye.

   Ayrburn

   2 hours

   Return privately to Hawkridge and retreat into the spa for some well-deserved relaxation. As the afternoon fades, continue to Ayrburn for a beautifully situated evening, enjoying the atmosphere and the opportunity to savour another memorable moment together.

   Glenorchy

   3 hours

   Enjoy a relaxed private breakfast at Hawkridge before departing for one of the region’s most beautiful journeys — the scenic drive towards Glenorchy. Follow the shores of Lake Wakatipu, with dramatic mountain landscapes unfolding throughout the journey.

   Continue to Moke Lake, where the peaceful alpine setting offers a wonderful contrast to the energy of Queenstown. Take time to enjoy the scenery before continuing your journey.

   At Momentos By The Lake, settle in for a relaxed chef’s-choice tapas experience, allowing the flavours of the region to become part of your afternoon.

   Queenstown Gardens

   2 hours

   Continue into Queenstown and explore at your own pace. Browse the town’s art galleries, wander beside the lakefront and stroll through the beautiful Queenstown Gardens.

   Jack's Point Trail Network

   one hour

   Visit Homestead Bay in Jack's point for dramatic views across Lake Wakatipu.

   The Remarkables Ski Area

   one hour

   Later, travel to toward the sky, ascending partway towards the Remarkables for an extraordinary viewpoint across the landscape.

   Return to Hawkridge for a private spa experience and time to unwind together. Finish the day with an intimate dinner in Arrowtown, surrounded by the charm and character of this historic village.

   After a leisurely breakfast at Hawkridge, set out privately towards Wanaka, travelling through some of the South Island’s most spectacular alpine scenery. Along the way, pause at carefully selected scenic locations around Lake Wanaka, allowing time to appreciate the remarkable colours, mountains and reflections across the water.

   Continue to Cardrona Distillery for a tour, discovering the craft and character behind this distinctive local producer.

   Enjoy the scenic drive on the Crown Range Road with views across the Wakatipu Basin. Stop for scenic photographs along the way, and unique locations off the beaten track.

   Queenstown

   Return to Hawkridge for your final afternoon at leisure. Indulge in the spa, enjoy a private game of pétanque in the gardens, or ask your guide to arrange another winery visit, riverside walk or visit to a local art gallery.

   For your final evening, head into central Queenstown and enjoy the atmosphere of the town, bringing your three-day private journey to a memorable close.

Day 5 · Sunrise & Farewell • Airport or Queenstown transfer

   Lake Hayes

   Enjoy an early sunrise walk on the Lake Hayes, Twin River or Shotover River trails. Your guide can recommend a trail and provide transportation. Return to Hawkridge for breakfast and prepare for departure. Depending on your departure time, enjoy a final visit to Arrowtown, Ayrburn or a local winery for a relaxed lunch. The private spa is booked for you this morning.

   Private transfer to the airport or to your next destination in the Queenstown area.
