About this activity

This private, guide-led tour offers a rare, first-hand look at Kharkiv's recent history — a city that endured heavy shelling in 2022 and continues to rebuild. Led by a knowledgeable local English-speaking guide, you'll visit Freedom Square and its landmark Regional State Administration building, still bearing visible damage, and drive through Saltivka, one of the residential districts hardest hit, to see the resilience of its community firsthand. This is an educational and deeply personal experience, not a typical sightseeing tour — ideal for travelers who want to understand modern Ukrainian history directly from those who lived through it. Transportation between all locations is included, and the tour is fully private and flexible to your schedule.
