Access to this canyon is legally capped: only 15 people per day are allowed in, permit-controlled. That means no queues at the rappels, no waiting behind another group, and long stretches where the only sound is running water. Swap the beach for a natural waterpark. In Los Carrizales near Masca, you'll rappel down waterfalls, slide volcanic rock and swim in pools hidden in a canyon reachable only on rope.
