Itinerary

Check-in at Hillarys Boat Harbour to collect your boarding pass, equipment hire form and map of Rottnest Island. The bike shed is right next door - get set up with your equipment before making your way to boarding, where the friendly crew will load your bike, ready for collection again at Rottnest Island. Once you arrive at Rottnest, collect your bike from the crew and set off for your day of excitement! Make your way around to all of the different bays, take a ride to Wadjemup Lighthouse (the highest point on the island), or race out to West End - the choices are endless! With over 22km of road, 63 different bays and beaches, 2 lighthouses and stunning scenery, cycling really is one of the best ways to experience the beauty that is Rottnest Island.

Meeting point and pickup

You can be picked up from your accommodation or go straight to the meeting point.

Free parking is available if self-driving. From Perth CBD head north on Mitchell Freeway then exit left when you reach Hepburn Avenue. Continue to the end and enter the harbour through the main roundabout. Turn left onto Southside Drive and follow the signs to 'ferry terminal'.

Courtesy Coach transfers available from hotels in Perth CBD, Northbridge and Scarborough. Please notify us at the time of booking if you require this service so that we can book in a pick up from your closest hotel.

A reduced transfer service schedule operates for 0730 ferry from the following hotels: Crown Metropol (Riverside Entrance), Billabong Backpackers, Rydges Kings Square, DoubleTree by Hilton Northbridge, Great Southern Hotel and Rendezvous Scarborough.

Using your ticket

Please note that a $25.00 security deposit is required per person hiring equipment. This is paid at the Rottnest Fast Ferries office at check-in, by card or cash, and will be refunded at the end of the day when our equipment is returned in satisfactory condition.

Don’t have a car? Free coach transfers are available from selected hotels to the ferry terminal at Hillarys Boat Harbour. Please note that your must call Rottnest Fast Ferries on (08) 92461039 at least 24 hours in advance to book this service.
