About this activity

Day 1 · Buenos Aires Sightseeing Tour

Start your morning with a pickup from your downtown hotel. Your city sightseeing tour begins in Retiro, and continue along Libertador Avenue toward Palermo, home to the city’s largest green spaces. Then head to Recoleta, one of the most elegant districts, known for its famous cemetery, where Eva Perón rests. Next, admire the impressive Teatro Colón, one of the world’s most renowned opera houses, located near the iconic Avenida 9 de Julio. You’ll then visit Plaza de Mayo, the political heart of the city, where you can take photos of the Casa Rosada. The tour continues to San Telmo, one of the oldest neighborhoods, known for its colonial architecture and traditional atmosphere. From there, you’ll head to La Boca to explore Caminito, a vibrant street filled with colorful houses and tango culture, near the famous Boca Juniors stadium. Finally, drive through Puerto Madero, the city’s most modern and stylish district. At the end of the tour, you’ll be dropped off in downtown Buenos Aires.

Day 2 · Gaucho Day Trip to Santa Susana Ranch

Estancia Santa Susana

Depart Buenos Aires in a comfortable to Estancia Santa Susana, located in Los Cardales. When you arrive at this traditional Estancia (ranch), begins with a welcome reception at the ranch pub with Empanadas and wine.

Take a guided tour to some of Santa Susana’s attractions, including its museum and church, before enjoying a horse-drawn carriage ride to explore the ranch.

Back at the ranch, tuck into a delicious parrillada (Argentina BBQ) lunch of grilled specialties such as sausages and chicken, accompanied by salad and beverages (red and white wine, soda, water and coffee). Then sip on a glass of Mate (an Argentine drink of yerba mate leaves steeped in hot water) and finish with a Pastelito (pastry)!

During lunch, be entertained by a tango and folk show, and watch an exciting boleadoras show, with throwing weapons used by gauchos. After that, you watch the gauchos show off their incredible ranch skills.

When your ranch day is over, you’ll be driven back to Buenos Aires.
