Itinerary

  1. Piazza Navona

    40 min Admission not included

To reach this spot, you will need to walk for about 8 minutes. Since this beautiful location is nestled in the heart of the historic district, and this square is close to the next two major attractions, your driver will walk with you to save time so you can explore all three locations together.

An elegant, oval-shaped public space built on the site of the ancient Stadium of Domitian.

This square is the pinnacle of Baroque architecture, featuring Bernini’s famous Fountain of the Four Rivers. Today, it’s a lively hub filled with street artists, outdoor cafes, and musicians.

  2. Pantheon

    35 min Admission included

To reach this spot, you will need to walk for about 5 minutes. Since this beautiful location is nestled in the heart of the historic district, and this square is close to the next attraction, your driver will walk with you to save time so you can explore all three locations together.

A former Roman temple, now a Catholic church, dedicated to "all gods."

Built by Hadrian around 126 AD, it is the best-preserved ancient Roman building in the world. Its massive concrete dome—still the largest unreinforced dome ever built—features an opening called the oculus, which lets in light (and rain!) to create a divine atmosphere.

  3. Trevi Fountain

    50 min Admission included

To reach this spot, you will need to walk for about 5 minutes. Since this beautiful location is nestled in the heart of the historic district your driver will walk with you to save time so you can explore it easily.

The largest Baroque fountain in Rome and one of the most famous in the world.

Designed by Nicola Salvi, this masterpiece features Oceanus on a shell-shaped chariot. Legend has it that if you toss a coin over your left shoulder with your right hand, you are guaranteed a return trip to Rome.

  4. Giardino degli Aranci

    50 min Admission not included

A small, fragrant park on the Aventine Hill officially known as Parco Savello.

Explanation: Famous for its symmetrical rows of bitter orange trees, it offers one of Rome’s most romantic panoramic views. Just a few steps away is the famous "Keyhole" through which you can see the dome of St. Peter's perfectly framed.

  5. Circo Massimo

    Passing by

An ancient Roman chariot-racing stadium and mass entertainment venue.

Explanation: Once able to hold over 150,000 spectators, it is now a large public park. While most of the original structure is gone, the vast footprint allows you to visualize the scale of the "Ben-Hur" style races that once took place here.

  6. St. Peter's Basilica

    1 h 10 min Admission not included

The grand elliptical plaza located directly in front of St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City.

Designed by Bernini to look like "the motherly arms of the church" reaching out to embrace the faithful, it is bordered by massive colonnades topped with 140 statues of saints. It’s where the world gathers to hear the Pope speak.

  7. Colosseum

    50 min Admission not included

This is the heart of ancient Rome’s entertainment district. Standing here gives you a 360-degree view of the world’s largest ancient amphitheater, the Arch of Constantine, and the remains of the Temple of Venus and Roma. It’s the ultimate "monumental" selfie spot.

  8. Piazza Venezia / Ancient City

    40 min

The political/social hub of Ancient Rome (Forum) and the central hub of the modern city.

The Forum is an open-air museum of ruins like the Senate House. Just a few steps away is Piazza Venezia, dominated by the massive white marble Altare della Patria (Victor Emmanuel II Monument). It serves as the geographical heart where the city's main avenues intersect.

  9. Spanish Steps

    30 min Admission not included

To reach this spot, you will need to walk for about 10 minutes. A steep set of 135 steps climbing from Piazza di Spagna to the Trinità dei Monti church.

Known as Rome's "iconic stairway," this is a classic spot for people-watching. At the base sits the Barcaccia Fountain (a sinking boat), and at the top, you get a beautiful view of the high-end shopping district below.

  10. Piazzale Giuseppe Garibaldi

    20 min Admission not included

Piazzale Giuseppe Garibaldi sits high on the Janiculum Hill (Gianicolo) in Rome and ranks among the most breathtaking spots in the Eternal City.

This wide, open square offers one of the finest panoramic views of Rome. From the terrace edge, the city unfolds before you: the majestic dome of St. Peter’s Basilica, the silver ribbon of the Tiber River winding through the streets, the red-tiled rooftops of Trastevere, and farther out the Pantheon, the Vittoriano, and on clear days even the distant Alban Hills. At sunset the entire scene turns golden and romantic, making it one of the best places in Rome for photography.

  11. Ponte Flaminio

    Passing by

Ponte Flaminio is a grand and monumental bridge in northern Rome that spans the Tiber River with imposing elegance, linking the Parioli and Tor di Quinto districts.

Stretching nearly 255 meters in length and 27 meters in width, the bridge rests on five graceful arches and is entirely clad in warm-toned Roman travertine that glows golden-white in the sunlight. Designed by architect Armando Brasini (with structural engineering by Aristide Giannelli), construction began in 1938, was interrupted by World War II, and finally completed in 1951. Originally planned as a dramatic triumphal entrance to the city from the north — serving the historic Via Flaminia and Via Cassia routes — it was briefly known by other names before receiving its present title in honor of the ancient consular road.

  12. Bocca della Verita

    30 min Admission not included

Bocca della Verità (the Mouth of Truth) is one of Rome’s most legendary and atmospheric attractions, a massive ancient marble mask that has captivated visitors for centuries.

Set into the wall of the portico of the beautiful medieval church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin, this enormous circular disc measures about 1.75 meters in diameter and weighs roughly 1,300 kilograms. Carved from pavonazzetto marble, it depicts a bearded male face — most likely the sea titan Oceanus — with hollow eyes, nostrils, and a gaping mouth. Historians believe it originally served as a decorative drain cover in ancient Rome, possibly linked to the nearby Temple of Hercules Victor or the Cloaca Maxima, the great sewer of the Eternal City.
