Itinerary

Vienna in winter transforms into three uninterrupted months of imperial scenery: illuminated Christmas markets spilling across Rathausplatz, Maria-Theresien-Platz and Stephansplatz, the glow of the Rathausplatz ice rink reflecting off centuries-old façades, and Schönbrunn Palace dusted in snow beneath its formal gardens. This is the longest, richest winter backdrop in Europe — a season that runs from the first market stalls in mid-November through New Year's fireworks and into the city's famous ball season in January and February. This professional photoshoot captures you, your partner or your family against that backdrop, timed for the soft, golden-to-blue transition of Vienna's short winter afternoons, when the market lights and palace floodlights come alive together. Whether you choose the grandeur of Schönbrunn, the intimacy of the Christmas market stalls, or the sweeping baroque architecture of the Ringstrasse, every frame is built to feel like a scene from Europe's most photographed imperial Christmas.
