Pride & Prejudice 2005 Movie Locations Tour from Manchester

About this activity

Step into the world of Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice on a full-day journey through the beautiful Peak District, visiting locations featured in the acclaimed 2005 film starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen.

Departing from Manchester, travel into Derbyshire to discover four locations that brought the world of Elizabeth Bennet to life on screen: atmospheric Haddon Hall, the historic town of Bakewell, magnificent Chatsworth House and the dramatic landscape of Stanage Edge.

Visit Haddon Hall, used as the Lambton Inn in the film, before exploring Bakewell and continuing to Chatsworth House – the real-life Pemberley. Finish at Stanage Edge, where Elizabeth Bennet stands against one of the Peak District's most spectacular landscapes in one of the film's most memorable scenes.

With a maximum of just 7 guests, this is a personal small-group experience rather than a large coach tour.

Leaving Manchester, we journey to the grand

Begin your Pride & Prejudice journey at Haddon Hall, one of England's finest medieval houses and one of the most atmospheric filming locations from the 2005 movie.

Explore the historic house and discover the rooms and surroundings transformed into the Lambton Inn, where Elizabeth Bennet and the Gardiners stay during their visit to Derbyshire.

  2. Bakewell

    one hour

We arrive in Bakewell, the market town Austen

  3. Chatsworth House

    2 hours Admission not included

The afternoon is dedicated to Chatsworth House, the "Jewel of the Peaks." This stunning estate was used as the exterior and interior of Pemberley in the 2005 movie. Admire the sculpture gallery and the painted halls where Elizabeth Bennet’s heart began to soften toward Mr. Darcy.

  4. Stanage Edge
