About this activity

Join me, Matt Pride, on a fully private jungle adventure through the wild and authentic south of Amami. I personally guide every tour, sharing over 25 years of experience in Japan and deep connections with the local community and nature.

Together, we’ll explore hidden waterfalls, untouched ancient forests, secret caves, and abundant wildlife—far beyond the typical tourist routes. I’ll share stories of how the jungle shaped village life for centuries, connecting you with the culture, history, and traditions of this remarkable island.

With exclusive access to places not found in guidebooks and a flexible, private itinerary, this experience is perfect for adventure seekers, nature and wildlife lovers, photographers, families, and anyone looking for a meaningful, immersive, and unforgettable day in Amami.
