Then you'll head through Solvang’s Danish village streets. Your fearless guide will share fun stories and history while pointing out connections between Solvang and Scandinavia. A highlight is visiting the Solvang Viking Museum. Kids explore ships, swords, rune stones, and other Viking artifacts while completing a scavenger hunt through the exhibits. Along the way they’ll see a replica Viking ship and hear stories about Viking explorers who sailed across oceans and reached North America long before Columbus. Next, the group stops for a Solvang classic: freshly made aebleskiver, the famous Danish pancake balls served with raspberry jam and sugar. The adventure ends with a visit to a local arcade where kids are given token to play.
