Itinerary

  1. Edro III Shipwreck

First stop: the dramatic Edro III shipwreck, stranded off Peyia since a storm in 2011. Its rusted hull leans against the rocks, glowing under the Mediterranean sun — a hauntingly beautiful sight and the perfect photo opportunity. This is the place where “real ship stuck here!”

  2. Sea Caves

    15 min

Next, admire the famous Sea Caves of Peyia, sculpted by waves and wind over centuries. These arches, caverns, and sheer cliffs dropping into turquoise waters showcase the raw power and beauty of nature.

  3. Stop 3

    30 min

Continue to St. George Harbour, a quaint fishing port with colorful boats bobbing in calm waters. The nearby whitewashed St. George Church adds spiritual charm, while surrounding caves and archaeological remains tell stories of Cyprus’ early Christian past.

  4. Stop 4

    30 min Admission not included

At Trakkos Donkey Farm in Kathikas, meet and feed the friendly donkeys, a fun activity for kids and adults alike. Learn about their role in Cyprus’ rural life and taste homemade delights like honey, jams, and liqueurs. A heartwarming, authentic stop full of tradition and charm.

  5. ADONIS Botanic Garden

    2 hours Admission not included

Tucked in the hills of Paphos, the Adonis Botanic Garden is a peaceful retreat where tradition, nature, and Cypriot hospitality meet. Founded by Michalis, a local herbologist, it preserves the knowledge of Cyprus’ medicinal plants. As you wander among herbs, flowers, and fruit trees, Michalis shares stories of their healing uses in Cypriot life. Guests are welcomed with homemade herbal teas, fresh fruit, and natural drinks, creating an experience that blends learning, relaxation, and authentic local warmth. A true celebration of Cyprus’ natural heritage.

  6. Tala Monastery Cat Park

    30 min

The Tala Monastery Cat Park is one of the most heartwarming and unique stops in the Paphos area, especially loved by families with children. Located in Tala village, this special place is home to dozens of friendly, well-cared-for cats that roam freely in a calm and safe environment. Visitors have the chance to interact with the cats, pet them, and enjoy a relaxing break surrounded by nature. For children, it’s often the highlight of the day—an unforgettable experience filled with joy, curiosity, and laughter.

Entrance is free of charge, and visitors are welcome to explore at their own pace, though a small donation is greatly appreciated to help care for the cats and support their wellbeing.

The setting itself is tranquil and scenic, offering beautiful views, the quiet atmosphere invites you to slow down and unwind. Whether you're an animal lover or simply looking for a gentle, feel-good experience, the Tala Monastery Cat Park creates a memorable moment for guests of all ages.

  7. Agios Neophytos Monastery

    45 min

Founded in the 12th century by the hermit Neophytos the Recluse, this remarkable monastery began as a simple cave carved into the rock, known as the Enkleistra. Seeking solitude, Neophytos lived here in prayer and study, later becoming an important writer who documented life in Byzantine Cyprus. The cave is decorated with impressive frescoes dating from the 12th and 15th centuries, many of which are still preserved today.

A visit offers a peaceful and unique experience. Guests can step inside the Enkleistra to see the saint’s original living space, chapel, and tomb. The monastery also features a quiet courtyard, a traditional church, and beautiful views over the surrounding valley. The calm atmosphere makes it a perfect, relaxing stop that combines history, culture, and natural beauty.
