Sokcho to Gangneung Photo Tour

About this activity

The east coast of Korea is best known for Sokcho and Gangneung.

We know many international travelers have a hard time choosing between the two.

With this tour, you can stay in Sokcho and still enjoy a comfortable day trip to Gangneung.

If you’re not interested in K-culture spots like the BTS Bus Stop or the Goblin filming location, you can visit Naksansa Temple instead.

Also, if you’ve already been to another Arte Museum, you may choose Haslla Art World as an alternative.

Please note that substitutions may not be possible when touring with other groups. We appreciate your understanding.

  2. Jumunjin Breakwater

    30 min

    Goblin Filming Location (Gangneung, Korea)

This is one of the main filming locations of the popular Korean drama Goblin (Guardian: The Lonely and Great God). 4. Gangneung Seongyojang

    40 min Admission included

Seongyojang is a traditional Korean residence from the late Joseon period, with over 300 years of history.

It was originally the home of the Seongyojang family, a prominent yangban (aristocratic) family in the Gangneung region.

  6. Anmok Beach

    40 min

    Anmok Coffee Street

Gangneung is renowned as the birthplace of Korea's modern coffee culture. In the 1980s, the area was lined with instant coffee vending machines. By 1998, local baristas and roasters began establishing cafes, introducing hand-roasted, specialty coffee to the region. Today, many cafes along the street roast their own beans, offering unique blends and brewing techniques.
