Ancestral Santiago: Art, Roots & Native Cuisine

About this activity

Discover the Pre-Hispanic roots of Chile's capital and the influence of Inca culture. We will visit sites of ancient indigenous settlements like Plaza de Armas and Cerro Santa Lucía (also known as Huelén). You will also have the chance to learn and appreciate the art of the region's ancient cultures through artifacts, pottery, and textiles at the Pre-Columbian Art Museum.

During the experience, enjoy a unique drink and snack of the Mapuche culture and learn about their gastronomy.

The tour ends at the Museum, if you want to prolong your stay or keep walking around the oldtown, this is the perfect spot to discover more of Santiago and its culture.
