Itinerary

  1. Old Town of Rhodes

    Passing by

Explore the Medieval Marvel of Rhodes

Begin your excursion with a scenic drive around the walls of Rhodes’ Old Town—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Europe’s largest inhabited medieval town. Built in the 14th century by the Knights of St. John, this historic gem offers breathtaking photo opportunities at its iconic gates.

Flexible & Convenient Options for Your Visit:

Due to traffic regulations, vehicles are no longer permitted inside the Old Town, ensuring a pedestrian-friendly experience.

We’ll conclude the tour near one of the Old Town gates, giving you the freedom to explore at your leisure. The cruise port is just a 5-minute flat walk away—saving you both time and money (no driver waiting fees!).

Prefer guidance? Our expert drivers will gladly provide tips for navigating the Old Town back to your ship—stress-free!

Immerse yourself in history, enjoy seamless logistics, and make the most of your time in Rhodes!

  2. Colossus of Rhodes

    10 min

The Rise and Fall of the Colossus of Rhodes

This legendary wonder of the ancient world stood as a triumphant symbol of Rhodes' freedom. Crafted by sculptor Chares of Lindos between 292-280 BC, the 30-meter bronze titan of sun god Helios commemorated the island's defense against invaders. With one hand holding a bow and the other raising a guiding torch, its mighty legs straddled the harbor entrance as ships passed beneath.

Yet nature had other plans. In 226 BC, just 56 years after its completion, a powerful earthquake shattered this engineering marvel at its knees. The fallen giant broke into massive fragments, its brief but glorious existence ending in ruins. Though gone, the Colossus remains an enduring testament to human ambition and artistry.

  3. Mandraki Harbour

    15 min

Discover Mandraki Port & Its Historic Treasures

Mandraki Port, located in Rhodes’ New Town, is home to striking Italian-era monumental buildings that showcase the island’s rich architectural heritage. This iconic harbor is also the legendary site of the Colossus of Rhodes—one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World—whose imposing statue once stood guard at the entrance.

During your visit, you’ll have time to:

Capture photos of the picturesque harbor and its grand surroundings.

Step inside the Church of the Annunciation, Rhodes Town’s most famous church. Built in the 1920s during the Italian occupation, this stunning cathedral features breathtaking Gothic-style frescoes by artist Fotis Kontoglou and magnificent chandeliers. Today, it serves as the city’s central cathedral and hosts vibrant celebrations on March 25th, its feast day.

A perfect blend of myth, history, and beauty—Mandraki Port is a must-see stop on your Rhodes adventure!

  4. The Acropolis of Rhodes

    15 min

Our tour continues through Rhodes Town, showcasing the island's remarkable Italian architectural legacy. The journey includes several notable stops:
