Itinerary

Day 1 · Nam Ha Village to Campsite (Jungle Camp)

Luang Namtha

9:00 AM: Meet at the office and travel by Tuk-Tuk, stopping at a local market for supplies. Start Trek: Begin from Nam Ha village with a local guide. Trek through the jungle, stopping for a picnic lunch. Learn about medicinal plants and traditional jungle cooking methods. Set up camp and prepare a Khmu jungle dinner.

Day 2 · Campsite to Nalan Village

Luang Namtha

Morning: Enjoy the sounds of wildlife. After breakfast, choose between two options: Option 1 (3 hours hike): Cross Nam Ha River, trek to Nalan village, and enjoy a traditional lunch. Learn about Khmu lifestyle and culture and Option 2 (5-6 hours hike): Follow the trail back from Day 1, then hike through the Nam Ha NPA valley, arriving at Nalan village before sunset. Explore the village and enjoy local activities after dinner.

Day 3 · Nalan to Chalernsouk or Nahome/Namlue Village

Luang Namtha

Morning: Visit the village, try Lao coffee or local tea, and practice crossbow shooting and rice pounding. After Breakfast: Choose between two options: Option 1 (3-4 hours hike): Hike uphill through the forest, have lunch, and continue to Chalernsouk village for Tuk-Tuk pickup and Option 2 (5-6 hours hike): Follow Nam Ha River to Nahome village, explore Khmu and Lanten areas, and continue to Namlue village. Return to Luang Namtha by Tuk-Tuk.
