Lalbag Fort, also known as Lalbagh Kella, is a historical fort complex located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Built-in the late 17th century by Mughal prince Muhammad Azam, it was intended to serve as a military fortification and a palace.
Star Mosque (Tara Masjid)

A local nobleman, Mirza Ghulam Pir (d. 1860), originally built the mosque and hence it was known as Mirza Ghulam Pir Mosque. Later, in 1926, a businessman named Ali Jan Bepari renovated the mosque, adding stars and other motifs. The mosque then got its present name Tara (also Sitara) Masjid.

The building is situated at Kumartoli along the banks of the Buriganga River in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Construction was started in 1859 and was completed in 1872. It was constructed in the Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture. It has been designated as a national museum.
