Day 1 · ARRIVAL TO EL CALAFATE AND CONTINUE TO EL CHALTEN

Road to El Chalten

Our meeting point will be at Calafate Airport from where you will depart to El Chalten, on a private transfer.

This fantastic transfer will be provided on a very comfortable 4 x 4 vehicle, it is available for any flight times, and will make stops at the best viewpoints along the road.

Embark on an unforgettable journey along Route 40 from Calafate to El Chaltén. Experience the breathtaking beauty of Lake Argentino, encounter majestic Guanacos, and marvel at the awe-inspiring views of Fitz Roy. Make a stop at Parador La Leona, a historic resting place with tales dating back to the early 20th century. Laguna de Los Tres trek is a challenging hike through ancient forests and rocky slopes, culminating at the iconic Laguna de Los Tres, where the majestic Mount Fitz Roy towers above in all its glory. The breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and glacial lakes make every step worth it.
