Meet us outside the main entrance gate to the Catacombs.

Nearest metro: Denfert Rochereau. Exit at Sortie 1 and you will see the Catacombs entrance gate directly across the street.

Your guide will be wearing their guide badge on an orange lanyard.

End point

The catacombs exit is a few blocks away from the entrance, on rue Remy Dumoncel. The nearest metros are Alesia and Mouton Duvernet.

Using your ticket

Please meet your guide 15 minutes prior to the starting time of the tour.
Entry times at the catacombs are strict and the group must enter on time, please do not be late.
We cannot guarantee that late arrivals can be accommodated and tickets are non-refundable.
Please note this voucher does not give you access to the site, your guide will have the entry tickets with them at the meeting point.
Please present your booking voucher on your cell phone to your guide at the meeting point. You do not need to print it.
The tunnels can be slippery and remain at a temperature of around 14°C/57°F, even in summer. Guests are advised to wear sturdy shoes and bring warm clothing.

This tour is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
The tunnels can be slippery and remain at a temperature of around 14°C/57°F, even in summer. Guests are advised to wear sturdy shoes and bring warm clothing.
Tickets for the Catacombs are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. They must be used with the group at the booked time and their availability is limited. Entry times are also prebooked and are strictly adhered too, we must enter on time. For this reason we are unable to issue refunds to latecomers or no shows for missed tours.
If you plan to arrive at the meeting point by taxi, please ensure you leave yourselves plenty of time, it can often take a considerable amount of time to find a taxi in Paris!
The Catacombs are 20 meters/65 feet (and more) underground and the tunnels are narrow in places. This tour is not suitable for those with cardiac or respiratory problems, or suffering from claustrophobia.
