Itinerary

  1. Salto De Malacatiupan

    2 hours Admission included

Start your adventure at El Salto de Malacatiupan, an extraordinary natural wonder where warm thermal waterfalls meet volcanic energy. The name Malacatiupán comes from Nahuat, traditionally interpreted as “round temple”, reflecting the sacred importance that Indigenous communities once gave to this site.

What makes this place truly unique is the meeting of two rivers:

    • one river of hot, volcanic spring water,
    • and another of cold, fresh mountain water.

The fusion of both creates the perfect warm temperature that visitors enjoy today. Immerse yourself in these mineral-rich waters known for their relaxing and healing properties, enjoy a refreshing dip, or simply unwind in a peaceful natural setting before continuing your journey.

  2. Concepcion de Ataco

    one hour

Travel next to Ataco, one of the most vibrant cultural towns along El Salvador’s famous Flower Route. This colorful colonial village stands out for its artistic soul—streets adorned with bright murals, artisan workshops, traditional crafts, and cozy cafés serving freshly roasted Salvadoran coffee. As you walk through the cobblestone streets, you’ll feel the warmth and creativity of the local community, making Ataco one of the most beloved destinations in the country.

  3. Stop 3

    2 hours Admission included

Continue to Café Albania, an iconic adventure and coffee park surrounded by lush plantations and green mountain landscapes. Home to the famous Labyrinth of Albania, this destination blends culture, adrenaline and nature. Enjoy a cup of local coffee or, if you prefer, try optional attractions like the giant swing, sky bike or ziplines.

  4. Apaneca

    one hour

Finally, journey to Apaneca, the highest town in El Salvador, nestled among misty mountains and coffee fields. This charming village offers breathtaking panoramic views and optional outdoor adventures such as buggy rides and canopy experiences. Or simply relax and take in the serene landscapes and cool mountain air that make this region unforgettable.
