Day 2 · Marrakesh – Ouarzazate – Zagora

   After breakfast, Departure to Ouarzazate via the mountains of the high Atlas passing through the Tizin’Tichka pass at

   an altitude of 2260m.

   Stop 2

   30 min

   This is your route to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and also to Ouarzazate, a famous route in the High Atlas Mountains.

   Stop 3

   one hour

   You will have 1 hour of free time to climb the small hill crossing the village listed as a UNESCO heritage site and see the Kasbah from all angles.

   Ouarzazate is a city south of Morocco's High Atlas Mountains, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Its kasbahs and the surrounding rocky landscape appear in several films. A road winds southeast, through the lush palm groves of the Drâa Valley, towards the desert.

   Continuation to Zagora via the mountains of the Anti-Atlas, the Draa valley with its numerous palm groves and Kasbahs.

Day 3 · Zagora - Erfoud

   After breakfast, excursion to Tamegroute, visit the famous library with its old books and documents

   dating from the 12th century.

   Ksar Tansikht is a fortified village in the province of Zagora, Draa-Tafilalet region in southeastern Morocco.

   Stop at the small Berber village of Tazzarine for lunch optional.

   Alnif is a town in Tinghir Province, Drâa-Tafilalet, Morocco, known for its significant paleontological discoveries.

   Rissani is a town in Errachidia Province in eastern Morocco, located near Erfoud. The mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, third great-grandfather of Moulay Cherif, founder of the Alaouite Dynasty of Morocco, is located on the southern edge of town.

Day 4 · Erfoud - Tinghir - Ouarzazate

   Early morning a jeep excursion to see the sunrise over the sand dunes of Merzouga.

   Continuation to magnificent Todgha canyons with rocks reaching an altitude of 250m. Lunch optional at the restaurant located at the feet of the canyons.

   Located in a landscape of mountains and the Sahara desert, Kasbah Taourirt is one of the most beautiful kasbahs in Morocco. In the past, it was a strategic location controlled by the Glaoui for the Saharan caravan route in West Africa. Although Taourirt was the main residence of Glaoui, it did not house the main chiefs there. Instead, it housed the second level of command, namely the sons, servants, cousins, builders and artisans of the dynasty.

   Continuation to Ouarzazate via the road of the 1000 Kasbahs and the Dades valley, famous for its roses.

Day 5 · Ouarzazate - Marrakesh

   After breakfast, visit of the kasbah Ait ben haddou the most spectacular fortress in the South of Morocco, which has served as décor for many films like 'Lawrence of Arabia'.

Day 6 · Marrakesh

   Menara Garden

   The Menara Gardens are botanical gardens located west of Marrakech, Morocco, near the Atlas Mountains. They were established in the 12th century by the ruler of the Almohad Caliphate, Abd al-Mu'min. The name menara comes from the pavilion with its small roof in the shape of a green pyramid which means lighthouse.

   This museum is located in the heart of the medina, a few steps from the Bahia Palace, entirely dedicated to Moroccan wood crafts.

Day 7 · Marrakesh

   You'll begin your door-to-door tour with the prestigious Majorelle Gardens, a calming retreat in the bustling city, protected from the weather by high earthen walls. You will explore its strange history, learn more about its French-influenced architecture and its links with the iconic French designer Yves Saint Laurent and the famous painter/botanist Jacques Majorelle, stroll along its shaded paths, discover sublime exotic plants, pass past refreshing, trickling streams and ponds teeming with water lilies and lotus flowers.
