Escape central Hakodate on a private 8-hour vehicle tour combining local history with the natural scenery of southern Hokkaido. Travel from your Hakodate hotel, station, or port to Goryokaku Park, Trappistine Convent, and Onuma Quasi-National Park before returning to Hakodate.

Default route: Hakodate pickup → Goryokaku Park → Trappistine Convent → Onuma Quasi-National Park → Hakodate return.

Goryokaku Park

Explore Hakodate’s famous star-shaped historic fort and enjoy a relaxed walk around Goryokaku Park. Guests may optionally visit Goryokaku Tower for a panoramic view of the five-pointed fort.

Goryokaku Tower admission is not included. The current reference adult admission price is JPY 1,200. No skip-the-line admission is included.
Stop 2

Visit the peaceful public grounds of Japan’s first convent for women. Admire the distinctive brick architecture, landscaped garden, religious statues, and quiet surroundings.

Only designated public areas and the front garden are accessible to visitors; this stop does not include an interior convent tour. Admission to the public area is free.
Stop 3

2 hours

Spend the main part of the day at Onuma Quasi-National Park, known for its lakes, forested islands, walking paths, and views toward Mt. Komagatake.

Enjoy a lakeside walk, photography, free time, and a self-paid lunch around the Onuma Park area. The stop is intentionally longer than the other sightseeing locations so guests can experience the natural surroundings at a relaxed pace.

Optional seasonal activities such as sightseeing boats, cycling, canoeing, snow trekking, snowmobiling, or other third-party experiences are not included and are subject to season, weather, operating schedules, availability, and separate fees. 函館旅行ガイド

Pickup is available from hotels and accommodations within the confirmed Hakodate service area, Hakodate Station, Hakodate Port, and confirmed cruise terminals.

After booking, please provide your exact pickup location, hotel or accommodation name, preferred pickup time, passenger number, luggage quantity and size, wheelchair or baby-seat requirements if applicable, and a reachable phone number or WhatsApp contact. Please send all details at least 24 hours before departure.

For hotel pickup, please wait in the lobby or at the main entrance at the confirmed time. For Hakodate Station or port pickup, the exact meeting point will be confirmed before the service date. Please keep your phone reachable on the tour day.

Free waiting time is 30 minutes from the scheduled pickup time. Waiting beyond this period or service beyond the booked 8 hours is charged at JPY 5,000 per hour for vehicles with up to 14 seats and JPY 10,000 per hour for larger vehicles.

Night service between 22:00 and 07:00 incurs an additional JPY 2,000 surcharge.

Please provide accurate passenger and luggage quantities. Maximum luggage capacity depends on the selected vehicle: up to 4 large 28-inch suitcases for the 6-guest vehicle and up to 15 for the 9-guest vehicle. Larger vehicle capacity varies by passenger configuration. If capacity is exceeded, a larger or additional vehicle may be required at extra cost.

For larger vehicles, parking restrictions may require pickup or drop-off at a nearby safe meeting point. Pickup or drop-off outside the standard Hakodate service area requires advance confirmation and may incur an additional charge.
