About this activity

If you want to immerse yourself in authentic Lecce and Salento cuisine, come to my home where I'll be waiting to teach you the art of homemade pasta with simple ingredients.

Together, we'll cook a Salento menu full of delicious aromas.

We'll make pasticciotto, Lecce's most famous dessert, and then we'll make Lecce coffee, the kind that has captivated tourists from around the world. I'll use only the highest-quality ingredients, always favoring local, farmer-produced products and using organic products! Come cook and eat with me, a menu also suitable for vegetarians.

We'll make pasta with our hands and a rolling pin, and we'll make orecchiette and maccheroncino just like my grandmother used to make.

Itinerary

We will make two types of fresh homemade pasta together. A unique sauce made with tomato sauce and cacioricotta. A second course that will be meat or vegetables depending on request and for dessert the famous pasticciotto Leccese. Finally we will taste the delicious Lecce coffee based on Lecce coffee and the best almond milk of Salento!

Orecchiette with tomato sauce — We will make orecchiette and macaroni with tomato sauce, then we will add cacioricotta and basil. · Meatballs or eggplant parmesan — We will make a second course of meat or a second course for vegetarians always from Salento · Pasticciotto leccese — We will make the famous pasticciotto that releases its irresistible aroma. · Coffee in Lecce — We will close the menu with Lecce coffee
