About this activity

What sets the Canyon Lake & Devil’s Backbone Self-Guided Slingshot Tour apart is that it’s a true “iconic Hill Country” experience—already planned and mapped so you can simply enjoy the ride. This route includes the legendary Devil’s Backbone ridgeline drive, known for sweeping curves, elevated views, and wide-open Texas scenery, plus beautiful Canyon Lake overlooks that make it feel like a real getaway. Unlike a basic rental where you have to guess where to go, we provide the complete turn-by-turn route, so all you have to do is press play on your music and take in the amazing views. It’s self-guided freedom with a guided feel: stop for photos, scenic pull-offs, or local food whenever you want, without being rushed. With 100% paved roads and a perfect mix of relaxing stretches and fun Hill Country curves, it’s ideal for couples, families, first-timers, and anyone wanting a memorable half-day adventure.
