   After a scenic one-hour drive from Lucerne, we'll arrive at Göscheneralp, a stunning alpine destination nestled between majestic peaks and surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. This hidden gem offers pristine landscapes, crystal-clear lakes, and an unmatched sense of tranquility.

   We'll set off on a hike that lasts between 3.5 to 5 hours, depending on the group’s pace. Along the way, you'll be treated to spectacular views of the Swiss Alps, rugged mountains, and lush valleys.

   A packed lunch will be provided for a picnic amidst the stunning surroundings, offering the perfect moment to relax and take in the scenery.

   After returning to the car with ease, you'll have the option to extend your Swiss experience. In the evening, we can visit the beautiful shores of Lake Lucerne, where you can enjoy a traditional Swiss barbecue (grill) and take a refreshing swim, fully immersing yourself in the Swiss outdoor lifestyle.

From our experience, it may not always be the most exciting stop compared to other hidden gems we can explore, but if travelers wish to visit, we can absolutely accommodate. Interlaken, nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, offers charming streets, shopping, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Guests can take a stroll through the city center, enjoy a coffee, or simply soak in the alpine scenery. This stop is flexible and can be a quick visit, allowing more time for other adventures.

   Take a break and cool off with a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Brienz, known for its stunning turquoise color and serene surroundings.    After our visit to Berner Oberland, we’ll journey through the majestic Grimsel World, a high mountain pass offering panoramic views of rugged peaks and glacial landscapes. The scenic drive will take us through some of the most dramatic terrains in Switzerland.

   Grimsel Pass is only open from June until October, depending on the amount of snowfall. In some years, it may open earlier or later, based on the weather conditions.

    Next, we’ll drive through the legendary Furka Pass, famous for its breathtaking vistas. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to explore the Ice Cave, an impressive glacier tunnel that lets you step into the heart of the ice, providing a one-of-a-kind experience.

Day 3 · Mount Pilatus Golden Round Trip or alternative to Mount Titlis

   Cogwheel Railway: Alpnachstad to Pilatus Kulm

   After the boat ride, board the world’s steepest cogwheel railway in Alpnachstad. This exhilarating ride takes you up the rugged slopes of Mount Pilatus, offering breathtaking views of alpine meadows and dramatic rock faces. The ascent to the summit is an unforgettable experience.

   Pilatus Kulm - Summit Exploration

   Upon reaching the summit at Pilatus Kulm, take in panoramic views of the Swiss Alps and surrounding lakes. On clear days, you can see as far as the Black Forest and the Jura Mountains.

   Cable Car Descent: Pilatus Kulm to Kriens

   After exploring the summit, descend via the panoramic Dragon Ride cable car to Fräkmüntegg. From there, continue your journey down the mountain with the gondola ride to Kriens, passing through alpine forests and meadows.

   Return to Lucerne from Kriens

   Once in Kriens, a short bus or tram ride will bring you back to the heart of Lucerne, where your Golden Round Trip comes to a close. You’ll return with unforgettable memories of Switzerland’s most iconic mountain excursion.

   As an alternative to the Golden Round Trip to Mount Pilatus, we may visit Mount Titlis instead. This option offers a unique alpine experience, taking you to the top of the spectacular Titlis Glacier. With breathtaking views and thrilling attractions like the famous Titlis Rotair, the world’s first rotating cable car, you'll be immersed in stunning panoramic sights. You can explore the Ice Cave, walk across the highest suspension bridge in Europe, or simply enjoy the snow all year round.

   Please note, this is an alternative to the Pilatus Golden Round Trip, and guests will experience one or the other, but not both.
