About this activity

Spend two days and one night in Egypt’s Western Desert on a private 4WD camping safari from Cairo or Giza. Your own driver and English- or Spanish-speaking guide take you to Bahariya Oasis, the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain, Agabat Valley, and the surreal chalk formations of the White Desert.

Day 1 · Pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and drive to Bahariya Oasis to begin your private desert safari.

Black Desert

After an early morning pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza, travel by private vehicle to Bahariya Oasis. After lunch, continue by 4WD into the Black Desert and explore its dramatic volcanic hills and dark desert landscapes. Continue towards El Haiz village and enjoy a refreshing stop at its natural spring.
Cristal Mountain

Visit Crystal Mountain, a unique natural formation where quartz crystals can be found scattered among the desert rocks. Enjoy time to explore and take photographs.
Valley of Agabat

Continue to Agabat Valley, one of the most spectacular landscapes of the Western Desert. Enjoy panoramic views of dramatic limestone formations and surrounding sand dunes, with time for sandboarding.
Bahariya Oasis

Enjoy a short stop in Bahariya Oasis and experience the refreshing natural spring water. Take a break with drinks and fresh fruit before continuing towards the White Desert.

Day 2 · White Desert Sunrise, Breakfast & Return to Cairo
