Huaqing Palace

With the efforts of Emperor Xuanzong and his forefathers, Tang Dynasty reached the peak of most prosperous eras in Chinese history. However, a military coup broke out during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong marking the turning point of the decline of Tang dynasty. "The Everlasting Sorrow" is a legendary love story of Emperor Xuanzong and his concubine, Yang Guifei, which took place at Huaqing Palace. This romantic imperial love story of a turmoil time has touched the hearts of Chinese people till today. The duration of the show is 70 minutes and consist of 10 scenes. It is performed on the stage located in the Huaqing Palace nightly from April through October only. The performance will start promptly at 8:10pm. Therefore, please present your admission ticket to staff member and take your seat in advance.

Using your ticket

Dress code is smart casual
A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
Transportation by bus: take Tourism 5 (also known as 306) and then transfer to 915 or 914 bus and get off at Huaqing Palace Stop
Transportation by airport shuttle: there are three shuttle bus running everyday scheduled at 10:30am, 1pm, and 4:30pm. The cost is approximately RMB$30 per person.
