Day 1 · Day 1: Mombasa/Diani – Tsavo East National Park

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or residence in Mombasa OR Diani. You will then drive through the scenic countryside towards Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s oldest and largest parks, famous for its red-elephant herds and dramatic landscapes. Upon arrival at the park, you’ll enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge or camp, where you’ll check in and have lunch. After some time to relax, you’ll head out for an afternoon game drive, exploring the vast plains in search of lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and the famous maneless lions of Tsavo. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 · Day 2: Full Day in Tsavo East National Park

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch, allowing you to venture deeper into the park. Explore the Galana River area where you might spot crocodiles and hippos, and visit popular sites like the Aruba Dam, which attracts a variety of wildlife, and Mudanda Rock, offering stunning views and a great vantage point for animal sightings. The park’s vast savannahs and waterholes promise excellent chances to spot elephants dusting themselves in red soil, leopards lurking in the thickets, and diverse birdlife. In the evening, return to your lodge to freshen up, enjoy a hearty dinner, and spend the night under the African sky.

After an early breakfast, check out and enjoy a final game drive as you exit the park, giving you one last chance to spot wildlife. From there, you will begin your return journey back to Mombasa, Diani, or Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel or residence, marking the end of your unforgettable Tsavo East safari adventure.
