It is the highest rice production per acre in Malaysia. Total farming land paddy and fruits is about 4,300 acres. You can see a wide green paddy field on your right when you arrive in Sekinchan. It is also popular as a fishing village.

We can take an unbeaten track along the coastal line, away from the jetty; you may find a nice and secluded spot for birding, especially to look out for egrets, waders, and terns. It’s also a good hunting ground for hermit crabs of reasonable size.

  3. Sekinchan Paddy Field
