Experience a unique sunrise adventure with a nighttime ascent of Pico Mountain (2351m), the highest peak in Portugal. Your hike begins in the early hours before dawn, under a clear, starry sky. With your headlamp lighting the path, you'll make your way up the volcanic slopes in the quiet stillness of the night. Reaching the summit just before sunrise, you'll have the chance to watch the sun slowly rise above the horizon, bringing the landscape to life. From this high point in the middle of the Atlantic, you'll take in the morning light spreading across the surrounding islands and ocean—a peaceful and rewarding moment after the climb. Throughout the hike, your experienced guides will ensure a safe and enjoyable journey while sharing insights about Pico’s volcanic landscape and natural environment. A memorable challenge, a stunning sunrise, and an adventure worth taking! Note: The starting time displayed is not fixed as we have to adjust to the weather conditions.
