Travelers will explore highlights like the Calico Hills, admire sweeping Mojave Desert views, and take short, easy walks to experience the terrain up close. This tour is ideal for visitors looking for a relaxing nature escape, incredible photos, and a deeper appreciation of Nevada’s natural beauty—without strenuous hiking or long travel times.

  2. Calico 1

    20 min Admission included

Calico I is one of the most iconic stops inside Red Rock Canyon, famous for its striking red, orange, and cream-colored sandstone formations. Travelers will see dramatic layered rocks shaped over millions of years, creating a vibrant desert landscape that looks almost painted.

This area offers easy access and short walks, making it perfect for photos and sightseeing without strenuous hiking. From Calico I, guests can enjoy sweeping views of the canyon, unique rock textures, and classic Mojave Desert scenery. It’s a favorite stop for learning about the park’s geology and capturing some of the most memorable photos of the entire Red Rock Canyon experience.

  3. High Point Overlook

    20 min Admission included

High Point Overlook is one of the most impressive viewpoints in Red Rock Canyon, offering sweeping panoramic views over the entire canyon and the vast Mojave Desert beyond. From this elevated stop, travelers can see layered sandstone cliffs, winding desert valleys, and distant mountain ranges stretching to the horizon.

It’s an easy-access stop with short walks, making it ideal for relaxed sightseeing and stunning photos. The overlook is especially beautiful in the late afternoon, when changing light and shadows bring out the deep reds and textures of the landscape. This stop gives guests a true sense of the scale, silence, and raw beauty of Red Rock Canyon

  4. Seven Magic Mountains

    30 min

Seven Magic Mountains is a striking outdoor art installation located in the Mojave Desert, just south of Las Vegas. Created by artist Ugo Rondinone, it features seven towers of brightly colored, stacked limestone boulders rising dramatically against the natural desert landscape.

Travelers can walk around the sculptures, take vibrant photos, and enjoy the contrast between the neon colors and the quiet desert surroundings. It’s an easy, quick stop that combines modern art, open desert scenery, and one of the most Instagram-worthy spots near Las Vegas.

  5. Nelson Ghost Town

    45 min Admission included

Nelson Ghost Town is a historic mining town located just outside Las Vegas, offering a step back into the Old West. Travelers will explore weathered wooden buildings, abandoned mines, antique cars, and vintage signs that tell the story of Nevada’s gold-mining past.

Guests can walk through the town, take unique photos, and learn about the area’s colorful and sometimes wild history, including outlaws, miners, and early settlers. Surrounded by desert landscapes and rugged hills, Nelson Ghost Town is a favorite stop for history lovers, photographers, and anyone looking for a unique, off-the-beaten-path experience near Las Vegas.

  6. Boulder City/Hoover Dam Museum

    30 min Admission included

The Hoover Dam Museum offers a fascinating look into the history of one of America’s greatest engineering achievements. Located in the heart of Boulder City, the museum showcases original photographs, artifacts, interactive exhibits, and detailed stories about the construction of the Hoover Dam and the workers who built it during the Great Depression.

Travelers will learn how Boulder City was created to house dam workers, explore the challenges they faced, and understand the massive impact the dam had on the American Southwest. It’s an easy, educational stop that adds rich historical context to any visit to Boulder City.

  7. Hoover Dam

    one hour

Walk out on top of Hoover Dam, one of the largest concrete structures ever built and the reason Boulder City exists.
