Historic Gran Canaria

After finishing the pick-up, we will start the tour at 9:00 a.m. in the Caldera de Bandama and end at 4:00 p.m. The stops will be made approximately every 30 minutes.

1. 1

   Stop 1

   La Calderada de Bandama and its peak make up the Bandama Natural Monument, a space of great uniqueness and scientific interest that is located within the Protected Landscape of Tafira. The perfect structure of the boiler makes it one of the most beautiful in the Canary Islands.

2. 2

   Stop 2

   It is currently the largest garden in Spain, and has become a great reference for the conservation of local endemic flora. It has more than 27 hectares where it houses a magnificent representation of the native flora of the Canary Islands and the entire Macaronic area. You will enjoy a pleasant walk while observing beautiful landscapes full of both native and endemic flora.

   Stop 3

   The heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. History can be felt at street level, in this neighborhood of colonial houses most of the great monuments of the Canary Islands Archipelago are kept. In its squares there are historic buildings such as the Casa de Colón, the Cathedral of Santa Ana, the Canarian Museum and many more. A few steps from the old town of Vegueta is Calle Mayor de Triana, it is one of the most beautiful streets in the city, where all the offer of the main commercial franchises is concentrated here.

   Stop 4

   It is one of the most important meeting points due to its proximity to Las Canteras Beach and its proximity to the cruise terminal, being one of the most famous tourist sites in the city.

   Stop 5

   It is a ravine located on the island of Gran Canaria that separates the municipalities of Ingenio and Agüimes, being one of the largest ravines in the archipelago. It stands out for its pre-Hispanic archaeological remains and for its valuable endemic flora and fauna. It also stands out for the large number of cave houses, including a hermitage carved out of the rock.

   Stop 6

   Noted for its historic center, it is an enveloping and intoxicating environment. Life is an art in Agüimes, every corner of its historic center seems to be sculpted with a chisel, creating an environment where tradition merges with history. This is how a network of streets, alleys, squares and passages has been forged, whose beauty is captivating. In the Plaza de San Antón, it allows visitors to enjoy the different buildings that exist, such as the peasant houses, of the bourgeoisie, some of which have now been converted into craft workshops.
