Colossal stone walls, rusted gates and ruins, reveal secrets of the Golkonda Fort, its grandeur and a bygone era. It was once a city of diamond trade and hence some brilliant gems like the koh-i-Noor and the Darya-i-Noor were excavated from the mines around Golkonda.
Nehru Zoological Park

The Park is renowned for its natural landscape that provides habitat-simulated enclosures for the birds, animals and reptiles that call the Park their home. Birla Mandir

Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple, built on a 280 feet (85 m) high hillock called Naubath Pahad on a 13 acres (53,000 m2) plot. The construction took 10 years and was constructed in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda of of Ramakrishna Mission. The temple was constructed by Birla Foundation, which has also constructed several similar temples across India, all of which are known as Birla Mandir.

Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it connects the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The lake was built in the year 1575 by Sultan Ibrahim Kutb Shah at a cost of about Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
