Itinerary

Day 1 · Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Lake Mutanda

Pick up from Entebbe/Kampala and start the journey to Bwindi. We will make a stop at the Equator for a few pictures. For the rest of the journey view the long horned Ankole cattle, papyrus acacia woodlands and terraced landscape of Kigezi high lands on your way to Bwindi impenetrable national park. This will be a drive (8-10 hours) and the driver will make occasional stops for you to stretch your legs.

Day 2 · Gorilla Trekking

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early Breakfast and briefing from the guide, set off for the gorilla trekking in the Forest Sanctuary, the activity starts at 8.00am. You need to carry a packed lunch, rain jacket and jungle boots. The rangers will provide you with walking sticks and your driver will ensure that you have enough drinking water. The time taken to find the gorillas depends on the movements of these marvelous primates.

Day 3 · Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast, we will depart Bwindi for Entebbe/Kampala. Your guide will drop you off at the airport in time for your departure flight back home.
