Itinerary

  1. Al-Fateh Grand Mosque

    40 min

You will be vising Al Fatih Grand Mosque and guided by the mosque professional tour guide. Ahmed Al-Fateh Mosque is located in Manama, Bahrain's capital, and is part of an Islamic center. The center includes the mosque, a department for Qur'anic studies and an Islamic library. Construction work of Ahmed Al-Fateh Center began in 1984. It was opened in 1988 by the late Amir of Bahrain, Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa. The mosque occupies an area of 6,500 square meters and it can accommodate up to 7000 worshippers.

  2. Bahrain National Museum

    40 min Admission included

Our licensed tour guide will provide you with all information about Bahrain history. The Bahrain National Museum was officially inaugurated by the late Amir H.H. Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa on 15 December 1988. It was considered one of the finest museums of its kind in the Gulf region. Today, the Bahrain National Museum is one of the island’s main cultural landmarks.

  3. Bab el-Bahrain Souk

    30 min Admission included

Followed by a stop in the Muharraq old Houses. Muharraq, the former capital of Bahrain, is known for its cultural contributions through the many restored traditional Bahraini houses that can be found amidst the narrow lanes and byways. The Sheikh Isa bin Ali House is Bahrain’s most impressive example of Gulf Islamic architecture featuring four courtyards, beautifully carved wooden doors, and perforated gypsum panels.

  4. Qal'at al-Bahrain

    40 min

Our guide will take you on a journey to the history of Dilmun. Qal’at al-Bahrain is a typical tell – an artificial mound created by many successive layers of human occupation. The strata of the 300 × 600 m tell testify to continuous human presence from about 2300 BC to the 16th century AD.

  5. Royal Camel Farm

    20 min

Our tour guide will assist you to reach the camel farm zallaq where you can take memorable photos. Have your camera ready to pose with the camels as they are very friendly. This farm was owned by his Highness Late Shaikh Mohamed Bin Salman Al Khalifa, the uncle of the King of Bahrain. There are more than 500 camels in this farm. In olden days the camels were the mode of transport in the region to go from one place to another. Camels used to carry the load on their back to the market place along the desert.

  6. Bahrain International Circuit

    40 min Admission included

Visit the home of the F1 races "Bahrain International Circuit". Located in the heart of the Sakhir desert, it is a unique and contemporary facility that is synonymous with the highest levels of global motorsport. Featuring five different track layouts, the circuit first saw life in 2004 when the first ever Formula 1 Grand Prix took place in the country, making it the first-ever track in the Middle East to host the Formula 1 World Championship. Bahrain International Circuit continues to host staggering crowds and a wide range of events and activities, and serves as a platform that encourages motorsports in the country.

  7. Oil Museum and first oil well

    30 min

Go deep to the history of development by visiting the first oil well. As its name suggests, it is the first oil well in the Arabian Gulf and is located in Bahrain. Oil first spurted from this well on 16 October 1931, and the well finally began to blow heads of oil on the morning of 2 June 1932, to much celebration on the part of those involved in the project. The initial oil flow rate was 400 barrels per hour. The well is situated below Jebel Dukhan, dubbed the Mountain of Smoke, which, at a height of 134 m (450 ft), is the highest point of the island.

  8. Tree Of Life

    30 min

The Tree of Life or Shajarat-al-Hayat, as it is called in the local language, is a mesquite lonely tree that stands in the heart of Bahrain’s desert for over 400 years. Both its age and its location definitely make this tree a survivor, which is considered to be a remarkable natural wonder of the world witnessed by most who visit Bahrain. It stands alone, on top of a 25-foot-high sandy hill, at the highest point in Bahrain, miles away from another natural tree and with no apparent source of water. With 32 feet in height, it has continued growing-despite the extreme temperatures, lack of fresh water, and nutrients.
